A few months ago, I was told i’m like a toothache that won’t go away.  Just yesterday i was told that i’m like a helmet. Don’t ride your bike without your helmet Elmo says.  I really enjoyed John Mayer’s cover of Tom Petty’s “Free Falling”.  I’ve always enjoyed the song since i’ve been playing a bit of it for nearly twenty years (Full Moon Fever released in 1989.  Despite her hatred of John Mayer, Onelia proclaimed “I’d love you even more if you could play guitar like that!”  I guess I need to take guitar lessons.  First i’ll need to buy some new strings…

Good ole grilled cheese

Grilled Cheese (Wheat and American)

*2 slices of bread (white bread, wheat break, texas toast, ciabatta, whatever you like)
*slice or two of your favorite cheese (american, provolone, cheddar)
*3 slices of butter (slices not sticks)
*hot pan, skillet, flat top, sandwich press, panini press (the griddler, i owe hoa one)
*spatula for pressing and flipping

-Place cheese and a slice of butter in between bread,  butter one side of the outside of sandwich.
-Heat pan on medium-high, melt one slice of butter in pan. 
-Place unbuttered side down on buttered pan and toast in pan
-When toasted to the desired doneness flip sandwich and toast the other buttered side. 
NOTE: some people like a pressed flat grilled cheese others enjoy the simple toasted sandwich. so you can just toast and melt cheese or press sandwich flat while toasting and melting.

I need to find a tasty recipe for Colombian steak. Nel Jose enjoys a good Colombian steak. oh no! did i say Nel. I meant Onelia Jose.

I’m wondering if this Colombian steak is a grilled flank steak. skirt steak? hanger steak? flat iron steak? sirloin? ribeye? porterhouse?
