Note that “different” means compare to other fruits like rambutan, mangos, apples, pipeapples, etc. durian is sweet but just not the same *kind* of sweet. So for people that never smell durian before the smell become something strong & unfamiliar, which usually consider terrible.

Actually, the taste which i consider tasty also “different” compare to other fruits. Eating durian can be say that it bites like hot melting cheese without the hot, & taste sweet…just different.
